Process Safety Advisor

Location: Onsite – Local Candidates Only

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00–8:00 AM to 3:00–4:00 PM (office hours; minimal OT)

Duration: Long-term, with potential for extension based on performance and business need

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Advisor to champion process safety excellence across our operations. This role focuses on embedding a strong safety culture through targeted training, field engagement, structured risk assessments, and leadership coaching. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic communicator with deep technical knowledge of process safety and a proven track record in the petrochemical industry.

• Lead and perform risk assessments, HAZOPs, and other process safety studies.
• Develop and deliver process safety training across operational teams.
• Support structured risk analysis and consequence modeling initiatives (e.g., using PHAST or similar tools).
• Provide coaching and guidance to leadership to reinforce a culture of safety excellence.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate operational hazards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in process safety performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, or Process Safety Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience in the process safety field.
• Strong knowledge of petrochemical industry operations and regulatory requirements.
• Preferred experience with consequence modeling tools such as PHAST.
