POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an academic professional to join our faculty to teach Didactic and Laboratory sessions in Pathology, Toxicology, Physical Examination, and Nutrition courses. Faculty members are expected to adhere to the TCC Faculty Handbook and institutional policies.
This is not a remote position.
Experience, Education And Training- Master's or doctoral degree in a related field (e.g., MD, DO, DC, PA-C, DNP, PhD in health sciences).
- Demonstrated academic or clinical expertise relevant to the courses taught.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to excellence in teaching and student mentoring.
- Teaching experience in higher education.
- Active clinical licensure (where applicable).
- Experience teaching multiple subject areas (pathology, clinical sciences, nutrition, toxicology).
- Familiarity with learning management systems and instructional technologies.
- Experience with curriculum development or assessment strategies.
- Develop and update course materials, assessments, and lab activities.
- Provide hands‑on instruction in clinical assessment techniques and reasoning.
- Evaluate and document student performance; provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Maintain an inclusive, supportive, and innovative learning environment.
- Collaborate with faculty to ensure curriculum quality and accreditation compliance.
- Participate in faculty development, departmental meetings, and institutional initiatives.
Ability to manage the time requirements and pressures related to teaching and student interactions. Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks and meet multiple deadlines.
PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to provide physical instruction (teach/lecture) in a classroom setting. Ability to provide physical instruction in laboratory settings, such as physical examination labs, clinical skills labs, and other hands‑on instructional environments where applicable to assigned courses.
WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONSStandard classroom, physical lab, online, and office environment.
