Pool Concession Cashier & Guest Service Specialist

Duties

• Operating the cash register and assisting with the collection of all concession payments on a daily basis, serving the general public, and accepting and reporting any revenue generated by the concession area run by the City of Pasadena.
• Serving as the primary customer service representative, inputting orders to be prepared by the Food Preparer, and providing knowledgeable and friendly customer service to all customers (internal & external).
• Greets customers and processes cash transactions; answer customer inquiries; assist Food Manager and Food Preparers with opening and closing procedures; handle questions or concerns and direct to appropriate staff if unable to answer or satisfy customer/patron.
• Responsible for supplies needed to perform duties at assigned station; clean and sanitize food preparation equipment according to Safe Food Handling Practices; maintain proper personal hygiene during preparation of food; ensure facilities are in compliance with Safe Food Handling Practices to Health Inspectors.
• Shall perform all other related duties as assigned; prepare fountain drinks, hand customers prepared food and ready-to-eat items; display customer service with greetings, surveys, and acknowledgments; handle customer concerns promptly and provide feedback to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work hours:
  
  May work up to a 40-hour week;
  Concession workers will be at Strawberry Pool; works the assigned schedule and complies with the City's timekeeping and attendance policy.
