Staff Accountant

Description

International, growing company in Pasadena is looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join their team!

The Staff Accountant will work with the corporate accounting team to support the organization with day-to-day financial accounting & reporting.

The responsibilities will include the following:

- Calculate and post recurring monthly entries, including prepaid, fixed assets, amortizations and accruals

- Reconcile between multiple systems to create entries

- General Income Statement and Balance sheet review as assigned.

- Assist in timely preparation of financial statements to ensure deadlines are met.

- Liaise with other departments/ service providers.

- Ensure proper approvals are obtained for transactions as required.

- Support Accounts Receivable & Collections from Accounting perspective.

- Reconcile bank accounts and prepare cash forecasting.

- Prepare and assist in preparation of Sales Tax Returns.

- Assist in preparation of annual audit working papers.

You must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting and using an ERP system. In addition, must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work well under pressure and be able to meet tight deadlines.
