Part-Time In Home Autism Instructor – Trellis Services
Trellis Services is hiring one‑on‑one instructors to work with children and adolescents (ages 10‑21) with autism in their homes and in the community on non‑academic life‑skill goals. This part‑time position (8 to 30 hours per week – afternoons, evenings, and weekends) is ideal for someone who wants to make a difference in a child’s life. Flexible hours and competitive pay ($19/hr).

- Provide one‑on‑one support with community independence, daily living, and recreation/leisure – all non‑academic life‑skill goals.
- Work under the supervision of an experienced Case Manager and apply principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Flexibly schedule afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.
- Serve students throughout Maryland (Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, Howard, Talbot counties).
- Possibility to advance into other roles within Trellis.
- Minimum age 18.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- At least 100 hours of work, volunteer, or personal experience with individuals with developmental delays.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
Physical requirements vary by client assignment. Candidates may be required to push, pull, lift up to 35 pounds, and move quickly. Must be able to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run.
