Join the dedicated care team at Levindale Hospital’s High Intensity Care Unit (HICU), where you’ll deliver skilled, compassionate nursing care to adult patients with complex medical needs. Our HICU serves patients requiring ventilator or pulmonary support, cardiac monitoring, and recovery from acute brain injuries.
As an LPN, you’ll play a key role in supporting patient recovery while working collaboratively in a team-oriented, highly supportive environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver safe, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with individualized care plans and clinical guidelines
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
Communicate effectively with RNs, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team
Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
Active Maryland or Compact State LPN license
Current BLS certification (AHA required)
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
