Contract to Hire:
Mobile Native Architect | Pasadena, CA (Hybrid)
Exciting opportunity to be the first Mobile Architect in our client's Pasadena office! This is a new role where you’ll drive the architecture and design of major mobile features and products while still staying hands‑on with code (roughly 70% architecture / 30% coding).
Base pay range$80.00/hr - $90.00/hr
Qualifications- 10+ years of mobile development (iOS with Swift or Android with Java/Kotlin)
- Proven track record building and releasing mobile apps at scale
- Strong foundation in architecture (CLEAN/SOLID principles) and coding best practices
Experience with REST APIs, Graph
QL, and cloud (AWS/Firebase)- Exposure to AI/ML dev tools (ChatGPT, CoPilot, etc.) a plus
- Drive architecture and design of major mobile features and products
- Hands‑on coding (30%) while leading architecture decisions
- Lead the team and serve as technical leader
- Influence architecture decisions and new product initiatives
- Be the go‑to technical leader for a talented team
- Hybrid work in Pasadena (3 days a week onsite) with flexible virtual interviews
- Long‑term contract with potential for conversion
- Rate between $80-90/hr (W2‑C2C)
