Position: Assistant Store Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $71K–85K annually + Eligible for performance-based incentive

About the Role

Assistant Store Manager
, you lead by example, inspiring customers on their healthy beauty journey while building and developing your team to successfully deliver OLIVE YOUNG’s brand to the U.S. retail market for the very first time. You are a key leader on the sales floor and a trusted partner to the Store Manager — driving daily operations, managing, and ensuring operational excellence.

Beyond daily operations, you play a strategic role in driving sales performance by leveraging insights and analysis to plan and execute seasonal promotions and business initiatives. You are passionate about developing your team’s skills and career growth, and you provide regular coaching, feedback, and guidance to build confidence and capability. Through effective team management and proactive leadership, you create an inclusive and high-performing environment that consistently delivers results and brings OLIVE YOUNG’s mission to life.

What

You’ll Do

The following duties are considered 'Essential Functions' of the role. Qualified individuals must be able to perform these tasks with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Sales Strategy Execution: Drive sales execution on the floor by coaching daily selling behaviors, facilitating promotions, overseeing LSM (store self-promotion), and leading omnichannel initiatives through real-time feedback.
  • Performance KPI Analysis: Track sales and operational trends to meet profit targets, proactively identify risks and opportunities, and partner with the Store Manager to implement tactical adjustments.
  • Inventory Operation Management: Manage end-to-end inventory operations, including automatic replenishment reviews, order accuracy audits, tester management, resolution of misdeliveries and damaged goods, and maintaining accurate stock flow and organized stockroom standards.
  • Inventory Management: Protect store profitability by managing out-of-stock responses, clearance execution, product disposal, SHD, and stagnant inventory control while investigating inventory discrepancies.
  • Customer Experience Elevation: Facilitate a high-quality in-store journey by overseeing sales consultations, transactions, returns, and omnichannel services, while resolving customer inquiries and escalations with professionalism.
  • Floor Oversight: Oversee sales floor and back-of-house execution to ensure consistent standards across merchandising, cleanliness, signage, tester hygiene, and the delivery of in-store services and events (e.g., skin and scalp scan services).
  • Manager on Duty: Supervise and lead store-level Senior Advisors, Advisors, and Crew to align daily priorities with company standards.
