• Interpret job travelers and select the correct tooling and machine setups for each project.
• Operate CNC mills and lathes, as well as conventional mills and lathes.
• Perform precision machining on close-tolerance parts (+/- 0.001", +/- 0.0005").
• Handle raw metal preparation, sanding, deburring, and inventory control.
• Use precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and angle grinders.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety standards in a fast-paced aerospace shop.

• Previous lead role in an aerospace machine shop.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Skilled in CNC setup and operation, with experience in conventional machining.
• Knowledge of machining exotic materials and working to tight tolerances.
• Excellent math skills, attention to detail, and organizational ability.
• Physical stamina and commitment to safety.
• Experience with continuous improvement and team leadership.
