We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to oversee complex, multimillion-dollar construction contracts and subcontractor agreements. This role is critical to protecting the company’s commercial interests while ensuring compliance, cost control, and successful project execution. The ideal candidate brings deep construction industry knowledge, strong negotiation skills, and experience working with union labor environments. This is a CONTRACT ROLE.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full contract lifecycle for large-scale construction projects, from drafting and negotiation through execution, amendments, and closeout
- Lead negotiations with subcontractors, vendors, and partners on high-value agreements
- Review, analyze, and mitigate contractual risk related to scope, pricing, schedules, claims, and change orders
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, company policies, and applicable laws and regulations
- Collaborate closely with project managers, legal counsel, finance, and executive leadership
- Administer subcontractor agreements, including performance monitoring and dispute resolution
- Support claims preparation, negotiation, and resolution
- Maintain accurate contract documentation and reporting for active and completed projects
- Provide guidance on labor agreements, union requirements, and collective bargaining considerations
- 7+ years of experience in contract management within the construction industry
- Proven experience managing multimillion-dollar contracts and complex subcontractor agreements
- Experience working with union labor environments;
knowledge of collective bargaining agreements is a strong plus - Demonstrated success in negotiation, risk management, and dispute resolution
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple high-priority contracts simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Law, Engineering, or related field preferred
