Associate Attorney – Civil Litigation Defense

Wesierski & Zurek LLP, a highly respected trial firm based in Pasadena, is seeking a sharp, motivated Associate Attorney with experience in civil litigation defense to join our growing team. Our attorneys are known for their advocacy and skill across a broad spectrum of civil defense matters, including representing insurance companies, businesses and municipalities.

This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in litigation, and is eager to grow in a dynamic trial-focused environment. A hybrid schedule may be available following a six-month introductory period.

• Conduct and defend depositions
• Prepare detailed client reports and updates
• Manage cases throughout all litigation phases, from pre-trial through resolution
• Draft, file, and argue motions in court
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel
• Collaborate directly with clients on case strategy and representation

• 2–5 years of civil litigation defense experience
• Excellent legal writing and research ability
• Strong communication and client relationship management skills
• Strategic, proactive approach with an eye toward trial work
