Overview
Mid-Level Civil Litigation Defense Attorney (California)
A respected California firm is seeking mid-level civil litigation defense attorneys who want variety, responsibility, and real courtroom exposure.
You’ll work across insurance defense, employment, personal injury, government entity defense, bad faith, and related matters—no pigeonholing.
Compensation & Culture- 1,950 billable requirement that includes approved admin time
- 100% employer-paid healthcare, 401(k) match with immediate vesting
- Collaborative, mentoring-driven culture with real leadership growth
- Run cases from intake through trial
- Take depositions, handle mediations/arbitrations, and shape case strategy
- Work directly with clients and mentor junior attorneys
- Strong litigation focus (not transactional)
- 4–7 years of CA civil litigation defense experience (open to 3–12)
- Defense-side mindset with solid courtroom skills
- Willing to work primarily in-office (especially initially)
