The position offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, performance bonus, equity consideration, excellent medical, and retirement plans.
PositionDeputy General Counsel will report to and work closely with the General Counsel and Associate Counsel over all aspects of legal activity affecting the company and its affiliated entities (including a newly launched RIA), relating to fiduciary matters and regulatory, employment, compliance and general corporate issues.
Essential Functions- Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from a four-year college or university
- Legal qualification (JD) and current membership in CA state bar
- Minimum of 8 years relevant experience, including experience in house and/or at a law firm with highly regarded trust and estate, fiduciary, investment banking expertise.
- Strong background in advising on fiduciary activities, including trust administration.
- Excellent analytical skills and judgment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of management team.
- Ability to evaluate and develop strategies for resolving legal risks and implications.
- Ability to balance and effectively handle numerous priorities.
- Membership in California state bar.

A competitive base salary, performance bonus, and benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, life, long term disability, and 401(k) with company match.
Base salary range: $180,000 - $300,000.
