Duties:

Represent clients in workers' compensation defense matters before administrative boards and courts

Conduct legal research and draft case evaluations, pleadings, discovery, and settlement documents

Develop litigation strategies and attend hearings, depositions, and status conferences

Manage caseload independently with oversight from senior attorneys as needed

Maintain consistent client communication and ensure prompt updates on case status

Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality service

Requirements:

2-10 years of experience in workers’ compensation or a related litigation practice

Active membership and good standing with the California State Bar

Familiarity with the California workers’ compensation legal system

Ability to manage multiple files efficiently in a hybrid environment

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Must possess an active California Bar license
