Developer, Database Administrator, IT​/Tech

Job Description

Do you have an interest in working for one of the world's largest engineering and construction organizations? Our client has done over $3 billion in revenue in the last year, and has a specific need for a Pick Basic Developer in their Pasadena, CA office.

• Developer with strong in PICK Basic and experience with Uni Verse or similar Multi Value environment, preferably with Uni Verse database.
• Work directly with end users to maintain and support an in-house Uni Verse database application.
• Tech‑savvy individual with strong desire to learn and ability to become the SME of this application system.
• Self‑motivated, able to work with minimum supervision and get up to speed quickly.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and detail‑oriented skills.
• 5+ years programming experience in Uni Verse or similar Multi Value environment.
• Unix (AIX) shell scripting and universe system administration skills preferred.

• Work with end users to troubleshoot, resolve issues, define user requirements and analyze workflows.
• Code, test and implement programs of new and existing programs.
• Document and maintain program procedures, system updates and maintenance.

Universe Databases and Pick Basic Language.
