• Safely obtains blood samples by venipuncture or capillary collection from clients of all ages.
• Works to support the general operation of the assigned section/shift.
• This position may require flexibility of hours.

• EDUCATION:
  
  Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
  One-year phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting drawing patients of all ages or active participation and successful completion of a Huntington Health approved phlebotomy internship and training program required.
• LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
  
  Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT I) certification issued by State of California
• SKILLS:
  
  Effective communication. Able to work in a fast paced environment. Excellent customer service.
