Healthcare Administration
Provides senior‑level administrative support for health plan and trust operations, including claims, eligibility, financial reporting, and member/provider communications in a regulated healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and update Basys data (claims adjudication, appeals, Medicare, eligibility)
- Prepare Claims Activity, Trust Investment, Schedule C, and audit reports
- Update LA County eligibility files and Health Plan website content
- Respond to claims and eligibility inquiries from members and providers
- Support Open Enrollment, new hire onboarding, and enrollment activities
- Process life insurance deceased benefits and issue temporary medical cards
- Manage incoming emails and external auditor data requests
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in health plan, trust, or benefits administration preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, billing practices, and CPT, ICD‑9/10, HCPCS
- Understanding of plan provisions, COB, and third‑party liability
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficient with Windows‑based systems; ability to learn complex platforms
- Detail‑oriented, adaptable, and team‑focused
