CNA II

Full-Time / 5/2 schedule / PM Shift 3:00-11:00pm

Salary: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Under the direction of the Charge Nurse, DSD, and/or DON, the CNA is responsible for performing routine patient/resident care according to policies and procedures and within acceptable nursing standards.

• Provides quality customer service efficiently to residents, families, co-workers, and vendors to ensure satisfaction.
• Arrives on time, in proper clean uniform, with good personal hygiene, and a visible nametag.
• Uses equipment correctly and safely during patient/resident care.
• Follows infection control techniques in performing care.
• Observes and reports changes in patient/resident condition.
• Exchanges necessary information for quality care.
• Prioritizes activities based on current care needs.
• Maintains documentation as required by regulations and company policy.
• Performs duties safely and efficiently, wears safety equipment as required, and reports hazards or accidents.
• Follows cleanliness standards and all relevant policies, health codes, and guidelines.
• Attends all mandatory in-service meetings and complies with policies and procedures.

Must have a current CNA certification. Experience in long-term care, community health, geriatrics, or rehabilitative nursing is desirable. Knowledge of current State and Federal regulations is required.
