Compensation
  • The initial compensation for this position ranges from $21.00 - $25.83 per hour.
  • Salary is dependent on commensurate experience above the minimum qualifications for the role and internal equity considerations.
  • The salary may also vary if you reside in a different location than the location posted.

Works within the vision, mission, and philosophy of the agency. With limited supervision, provides comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, risk assessment, clinical interventions, case management, and coordination of therapeutic activities in the community. Ensures that documentation and maintenance of clinical records is completed per appropriate standards and regulations. Provides facilitation and support to enhance the efforts of youth and their families/caregivers in the design and implementation of evidence‑based treatment.

This position works directly with children and adults.

Responsibilities
  • Provides direct support to clients through therapeutic activities, behavioral interventions, and skill building exercises.
  • Assists in implementing individualized treatment plans and documents client progress toward goals.
  • Participates in intakes, assessments, and team‑based case planning as appropriate to program structure.
  • Conducts check‑ins, wellness calls, and crisis support under clinical supervision.
  • Supports clients in navigating resources, attending appointments, and achieving recovery goals.
  • Documents services provided in electronic health records in accordance with agency and regulatory guidelines.
  • Supports a safe, structured, and inclusive environment across settings.
  • Communicates observations and concerns to clinical supervisors and contributes to case discussions.
  • May assist in onboarding, guiding, or mentoring newer staff or interns.
  • Participates in trainings, team meetings, and supervision to support continuous learning and service quality.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in psychology, social work, sociology, or a related field and (3) three or more years of relevant experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience to include:
  • Minimum of (3) three years of experience working with individuals experiencing mental illness, trauma, or co‑occurring conditions.
  • Familiarity with behavioral health documentation, EHR systems, and Medi‑Cal standards preferred.
  • Experience in residential, outpatient, or field‑based mental health programs preferred.
  • Current CPR/First Aid and crisis de‑escalation certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required depending on setting.
  • Strong communication, observation, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Commitment to trauma‑informed, culturally responsive, and recovery‑oriented service values.
Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand or sit. The employee is required to use hands to produce records and/or documentation in manual or electronic format. The employee must possess ability to ensure significant communication with the Clinics’ community members. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally move or lift up to 10 pounds.
