LocationShiners Children’s Southern California (SCSC), Pasadena – a family‑centered, pediatric subspecialty ambulatory surgical center providing complex care for children with orthopedic conditions.

This position is full time, exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range is $43.67 to $65.51 per hour, determined by experience and departmental equity. You will evaluate and treat inpatients and outpatients—including infants, toddlers, school‑age, and adolescent children—interacting with families in an age‑appropriate manner to foster family‑centered care. Supervisory responsibilities may include overseeing physical therapists, occupational therapists, recreational/child‑life therapists, rehabilitation aides, students, and volunteers as assigned.
Responsibilities- Provides comprehensive and safe clinical care, demonstrating a commitment to the achievement of optimal patient outcomes in alignment with professional standards.
- Works with medical staff and the multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized plans of care to meet patient and family needs.
- Functions as a team member and develops leadership skills through mentoring and education of students and other professionals.
- Supports ongoing development and improvement of the department through participation in special projects, performance improvement, and facility committees.
- Responsible for professional growth through ongoing education and research in alignment with the hospital’s patient care and strategic direction.
- Maintains current knowledge of scope of practice, coding/billing practices, documentation, and other relevant knowledge in a revenue cycle environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
Certification/LicensureLicensed in the state of practice.
SkillsPreferred: 1 year of physical therapy experience.
New graduates are also considered.
