SLPA Consultant's assists in providing educational speech therapy services to students with speech-language disorders and impairments as prescribed by the Individual Educational Program (IEP). Opportunities are available in Full-time, Part-time, and Per-diem capacities, based on organizational needs and candidate availability.

About This Role

This is a unique opportunity for a consultant to work in a client-facing role while collaborating closely with in-office teams, requiring strategic thinking and effective execution in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will bring a consultative, client-focused mindset aligned with the organization’s culture and business objectives and will be trusted with a high level of autonomy to manage work, priorities, and client interactions.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of their work, anticipates client and team needs, communicates clearly and professionally, and partners effectively with internal teams to deliver high-quality, meaningful results. Travel time, mileage, and approved expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy.

The company will provide all necessary resources and laptops.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare and conduct therapy activities involving picture cards, worksheets, charts, games, and the utilization of computerized therapy applications and devices that facilitate the achievement of speech and language goals as documented in the treatment plans or protocols.
  • Prepares augmented alternative communication software, devices, and/or equipment and assists students for their use in the classroom and therapy activities.
  • Documents student progress towards meeting IEP goals and objectives by preparing charts, records, graphs, assessment and screening notes, or other informal documentation.
  • Assists the Speech-Language Pathologist during speech-language and hearing assessments and screenings of students without clinical interpretation by using and preparing designated materials and tools such as flash cards, bells, whistles, and other related items.
  • Adapt and modify instructional materials as determined by student needs for teachers use in the classroom.
  • Attend and participate in in-service training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings.
  • Maintain student progress records as required.
  • Travel to client sites as required.
  • Provide virtual support to Village

    ED and in-home students.
  • Ability to meet specific key performance indicators.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
