We are seeking a Per‑Diem dedicated Occupational Therapist Consultant to support students with special needs in our educational programs. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and treating students’ sensory‑motor dysfunction, motor skills, self‑care, and daily living activities. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide treatment, program consultation, and environmental modifications.

This is a unique opportunity for a Per‑Diem consultant to work in a client‑facing role while collaborating closely with in‑office teams, requiring strategic thinking and effective execution in a fast‑paced environment. Travel time, mileage, and approved expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy. The company will provide all necessary resources and laptops.

  Programs directly managed and operated by Expatiate Communications.

• Assess students within their education settings using an ecological model.
• Provide treatment, program consultation, and environmental modifications to improve student function.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including teachers, physical therapists, and speech pathologists.
• Maintain knowledge of California laws and policies governing special education and occupational therapy services.
• Monitor therapy programs and consult with staff on treatment strategies.
• Provide interpretation of assessment reports to families and recommend activities to support motor goals at home.
• Maintain timely and accurate student records.

• State Board Certified Occupational Therapist License.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to complete satisfactory Live Scan background screening and TB clearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.
