Financial Reporting, Accounting Manager
LHH is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead critical operational accounting functions for our client, a leading commercial bank bridging U.S. and Asian markets. This role provides hands-on leadership in daily accounting operations, month-end close processes, and regulatory reporting, while collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization. This is a high-visibility position for a dynamic accounting professional who thrives in a fast-growing, multi-cultural financial institution.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Lead and manage daily accounting operations and month-end close processes.
- Oversee deposit-related regulatory reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Manage accounting functions including deposits, foreign currency transactions, cash management, leases, fixed assets, prepaids, and fee-generating products.
- Review and prepare schedules, analyses, and reports for stakeholders and external auditors.
- Collaborate with non-accounting teams across the bank to support operational initiatives.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support new products, system enhancements, and ad-hoc analytical projects.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or a public company; manager-level experience preferred.
- Strong GAAP knowledge and regulatory reporting expertise for financial institutions.
- Banking or financial services experience highly preferred but not required.
- CPA license or MBA strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across departments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP and automation experience a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Compensation: $145,000 – $180,000 + annual discretionary bonus (7%–10%)
