Universal Banker – Part‑time (20 hours per week) – Pasadena, CA (United States)

The Universal Banker is an entry‑level role responsible for assisting the execution of sales, product, or service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The overall objective is to foster strong relationships with customers, build loyalty, and help increase sales to individual consumer clients.

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers
• Provide service delivery to internal/external customers to resolve account service issues
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate
• Create sales opportunities out of service transactions and resolve customer complaints/issues promptly and effectively
• Support sales/service activities within the branch by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, etc.
• Adhere to operational controls – legal, corporate, regulatory – to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets
• Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating ethical judgment, compliance with applicable laws, and reporting control issues with transparency

• 1–3 years of relevant experience
• Previous Retail Banking or similar experience required
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

• High School diploma or equivalent

Salary range (full‑time): $47,510 – $61,990 per year. Hourly rate: $22.84 – $29.80. Salary prorated for part‑time hires.
