Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team on a 3 to 6-month consulting engagement
. This role will provide critical network support as we work to fill key full-time positions within our IT infrastructure team.

Our Network Team typically consists of three full-time employees:

• Network Technician
• Network Administrator (currently vacant)
• Network Engineer (new hire, currently in training)

With our Network Administrator position open and a newly onboarded Network Engineer still in the learning phase, we need a seasoned professional who can quickly step in and provide expert-level support.

• Provide senior-level network engineering expertise to ensure stability and efficiency within our IT infrastructure. Highly technical.
• Work with Cisco Meraki networking environments, including switches and wireless networks.
• Manage and support Forti Gate firewalls
  , with an upcoming migration to Palo Alto firewalls within the next six months.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues quickly and efficiently.
• Assist in mentoring and supporting the existing Network Engineer.
• Ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner without delays.

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering
  .
• CCNP Enterprise certification (required).
• Strong expertise in Cisco Meraki networking (switches, wireless).
• Experience with Forti Gate firewalls (required).
• Palo Alto firewall experience (preferred, as we are planning a migration).
• Ability to onboard quickly and operate independently with minimal oversight.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
