School of Medicine - Student Affairs Master's Intern

Location

This internship role is scheduled to be flexible. Please be prepared to spend part of your time working remotely and part of your time working from the following location: 98 S Los Robles Ave, Pasadena CA, 91101.

The Office of Student Engagement supports students in becoming their best selves while creating an inclusive community that allows them to thrive.

• Make professional connections with mentors, faculty, and physicians
• Prioritize their well‑being while developing strategies to navigate life’s challenges

• Serve as leaders who contribute to a positive social and learning environment

• Assist in the development and delivery of training materials for student organizations and councils.
• Support event logistics and setup for student engagement programs and initiatives.
• Design marketing materials and flyer templates for the Office of Student Engagement and student organizations.
• Update and maintain SharePoint sites and digital resources for students to ensure accessibility and accuracy.
• Assist with assessment and evaluation efforts for student engagement programs.
• Contribute to a well‑being initiative focused on enhancing student life and inclusion.
• Collect and update data for student organization inventories in the Engage platform.
• Migrate historical data from SharePoint into Engage to improve access to legacy information.

• pursuing a graduate degree or have completed a graduate program from an accredited university within the last year.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutions.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

• 3.0 GPA or above
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.
