Job Description

The Training Manager is responsible for designing, building, and executing practical training programs that support operational readiness, technology adoption, and consistent execution across the organization. This role is focused on building and scaling training capability in a complex, operations‑driven environment, where legacy practices and resistance to change may exist. This position is best suited for a hands‑on training professional who brings structure to ambiguity, can operate independently, and is comfortable working directly with operations leaders in fast‑paced, no‑frills settings.

Success in this role depends not only on training design, but on the ability to drive adoption, influence behavior change, and reinforce operational standards. This is an individual contributor role with access to cross‑functional support and subject‑matter experts, but without direct people management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities Training Program Development & Lifecycle Management
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable training programs in partnership with internal subject‑matter experts across operations, technology, compliance, and corporate teams.
  • Build curriculum, documentation, and training materials from the ground up where structure or formal programs are limited.
  • Maintain training relevance as systems, tools, and operational requirements evolve.
  • Support the development of SOPs, playbooks, job aids, and reference materials that reinforce training outcomes.
  • Establish lightweight processes for maintaining and updating training content as needed.
Operational Adoption & Change Enablement
  • Drive adoption of training, systems, and processes in operational environments where legacy practices are common.
  • Partner closely with operations leaders to reinforce training expectations and prevent regression to prior ways of working.
  • Navigate resistance to change with professionalism, persistence, and practical problem‑solving.
  • Build credibility with operational stakeholders by understanding real‑world constraints and priorities.
Training Delivery & Execution
  • Deploy training programs across onboarding, system rollouts, process changes, and operational initiatives.
  • Facilitate training sessions in in‑person, virtual, and hybrid formats.
  • Coordinate logistics and scheduling in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Provide follow‑up support to reinforce learning and application in operational settings.
Performance Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
  • Define and track training effectiveness using practical KPIs and feedback mechanisms.
  • Conduct post‑training evaluations and collect stakeholder input.

Analyze results to identify gaps, refine content, and improve delivery methods.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to leadership as appropriate.
Qualifications Required
  • 5+ years of experience in training, learning & development, instructional design, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale training programs in environments with limited structure or documentation.
  • Experience working directly with operations, field teams, manufacturing, logistics, or similarly fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical guidance.
  • Proven ability to influence adoption and drive behavior change beyond initial training delivery.
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with adult learning…
