Junior​/Senior Tax Accountant

We are a prestigious, boutique CPA firm located in the heart of the beautiful business district of Pasadena, California since the 1960s.The firm provides high-quality tax, accounting, auditing and management consulting services to small-to-medium sized businesses, business owners, high net-worth individuals and non-profit organizations.

Ideal candidates must be detail-oriented, meticulous and highly organized. The position requires the candidate to be a motivated self-starter who has keen problem-solving capabilities with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Moderate experience in taxation for individuals, trusts, corporations, partnerships and tax-exempt organizations would be preferred.

Current working knowledge in preparation, compilation, review and/or audit of financial statements will be extremely helpful.

You will work closely with and learn from your supervisors and partners, mostly in the areas of taxation (about 85%) and accounting/auditing (about 15%).

This position requires: (a) a current CPA license or the desire to pursue a CPA license in the near future; (b) a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related fields from an accredited college in the U.S.; (c) preferably 3 to 6 years of recent, verifiable experience in well-established CPA firm(s); (d) proficiency in MS-Word and Excel, and necessary computer skills that will enable you to learn accounting and tax software quickly, and (e) working on the company’s premises.

Knowledge and experience in Lacerte, Quick Books, Accounting/Fixed Assets/File Cabinet CS, and Engagement Manager programs in a paperless, cloud computing environment will be very helpful. The partners of the Firm are always willing to go the extra mile at coaching staff to make sure they are equipped with proper knowledge to handle the work assigned.

The base salary for this position is approximately $60K-$75K/year commensurate with the experience before bonus and overtime pay, which may amount to more than 10% of the base salary depending on your job performance and number of overtime hours you put in.
