, you will manage all phases of business (1120, 1120S, 1065) and individual client tax advisory and compliance engagements, ensuring high-quality work and client satisfaction.

About Lucas HorsfallCelebrating 68 years, Lucas Horsfall is a CPA firm with low turnover, driven by a commitment to its people and clients. The firm’s growth has created a need for a Tax Supervisor to deliver personalized service to our diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities- Perform initial review of tax senior, staff, and intern work products.
- Act as primary client point of contact for the firm.
- Identify opportunities for value‑added services by staying abreast of client business needs.
- Communicate staffing and workload issues to Resource Planning.
- Review and confirm assignment objectives, scope, and work plan with clients.
- Resolve work product issues using firm resources.
- Contribute to the development and management of comprehensive strategies to meet all client needs.
- Identify and research technical issues to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Coach and mentor staff to enhance their skills and advance careers.
- Prepare and/or review monthly client bills.
- Anticipate, identify, and resolve complex tax‑technical issues.
- Effectively manage expectations and changes in project deliverables or deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of tax preparation and review experience
- Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Self‑motivator with the ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines
- Strong desire for career advancement and goal toward future firm ownership
- Strong background in individual taxation
- Licensed CPA or working toward CPA licensure
- Consultative / advising experience
- Knowledge of CCH Axcess Tax and Lacerte

Pay range
: $110,000 - $135,000 per year. This range includes the anticipated low and high end. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, and skill level.
