Layout Associate

Horizon Systems is seeking a dependable and motivated Layout Associate to support the fabrication of high-quality equipment. This role is ideal for someone who values precision, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

As a Layout Associate, you will assist in the layout and preparation of components for fabrication, ensuring that all parts meet company-defined quality standards. You’ll work closely with other departments to support production schedules and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Complete layout stages of builds as required (excluding brake press or rolls)
• Ensure quality documentation is processed per company procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure on-time delivery and product quality
• Accurately clock in and out of work orders
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
• Assist in correcting mistakes and minimizing rework

Success in this role requires a blend of mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and communication skills. We’re looking for a professional who demonstrates:

• Proficiency in basic math
• Effective written and verbal communication
• High attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 75 lbs.)
• Comfort working around industrial fabrication equipment
