Position: Behavioral Health Tech (BHT) - Pool / PRN Program

Join Our Team at Copa Health!

Copa Health is seeking compassionate and dependable Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to join our Pool/PRN Program
. This position provides flexible coverage and support to our Community Living Programs and Copa Voyager Youth Center
, serving both youth ages 14–17 and adults in residential and structured program settings.

As a Pool BHT, you’ll play a vital role in supporting members with behavioral health needs, fostering independence, stability, and personal growth in a safe and therapeutic environment.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide direct care, supervision, and behavioral support to youth and adults in residential and program environments.
  • Implement individualized treatment and behavioral plans while maintaining a supportive, trauma-informed approach.
  • Engage members in daily living activities, skill‑building exercises, and recreational opportunities.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with program expectations and documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and clinical staff to promote member success and program quality.
What We’re Looking For:
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two to four years of behavioral health experience, preferably working with youth and/or adults in residential settings.
  • Strong understanding of DBT principles and willingness to complete DBT training.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different program environments and member needs.
  • TB test clearance required prior to employment.
  • Must have or be eligible to obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and complete all required trainings.
