Adjunct - Pipefitting Instructor; Pool

• For applicants with an Associate’s Degree in Industrial and Commercial Pipe fitting, an Employer Letter(s) of Verification documenting a minimum of three (3) years of non-teaching wage earning experience in the occupational field is/are required. Multiple letters must be submitted if employment with one employer does not total three (3) years. Letters must be on company letterhead.

Adjunct Instructors are hired in a part‑time capacity on an as‑needed basis. These positions are filled prior to or during each semester and are contingent upon the needs of the College. Brazosport College accepts application materials for pool positions on a continuing basis throughout the year from qualified applicants willing to teach on a part‑time basis. Academic departments will contact potential applicants when there are available openings.

• Reports to the Division Chair of Mechanical and Construction Technologies
• Teaches Pipe fitting classes using traditional and alternative delivery methods
• CCPI

College benefits do not accrue with this part‑time position.

• This position requires either a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Commercial Pipe fitting from a regionally accredited college or university or an Associate’s degree in Industrial and Commercial Pipe fitting and a minimum of three years of non‑teaching wage earning experience in the occupational field.
