Production Assistant (POOL)

Position within Ohio Athletics for the academic year . This POOL posting remains open through June 30, 2026. Applicants are encouraged to apply as they become interested.

• Assist with Ohio Athletics broadcast and other productions as needed.
• Create content and programming for a variety of media platforms including radio, television, and web.
• Deliver relevant programming to the community, designed to engage listeners and viewers.
• Ensure that media platforms effectively engage the University community and contribute to external communication strategies.
• Provide data analysis and informational insights to support decision‑making.
• Collaborate with peers and follow guidance from supervisor.
• Perform basic operational problem‑solving, resolve day‑to‑day issues, and execute clearly defined tasks.
• May assist with training student employees.

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and less than 3 years of related professional experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Preferred: experience in media production, broadcasting, or related fields.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently with close supervision.
• Commitment to working effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.

• Sick leave and retirement.

Pay rate: $16.84 – $18.00 per hour (subject to final offer based on qualifications).
