The AI Application Engineer is part of the Enterprise Applications team, specializing in Oracle Cloud, EPM Cloud, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The incumbent evaluates, customizes, and implements embedded AI, generative AI, and AI Agents across the Oracle ecosystem. This role drives adoption of advanced AI capabilities, automates business processes, and delivers intelligent solutions that enhance operational efficiencies and business value.

The position may be performed remotely or from our Parsippany, NJ office.

• Assess embedded AI features within Oracle applications, customizing and extending them to meet business requirements.
• Develop, customize, and deploy generative AI models and AI Agents for business process automation, data analysis, and decision support across the Oracle ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Oracle application specialists and business stakeholders to understand requirements, research AI capabilities, and present technical solutions clearly.
• Implement monitoring strategies for AI and Automation solutions, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve model performance and accuracy.
• Create documentation for embedded AI, generative AI, AI Agents, automation workflows, and integration processes.
• Stay current with advancements in Oracle AI/ML technologies, generative AI, AI Agents, automation tools, and best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, software engineering, data science or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree is a plus.
• 1+ years of experience in AI/ML, generative AI, Agentic AI and automation solution development, with a focus on Oracle Cloud platforms.
• 3+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud or other ERP/HCM systems (SAP, Workday, EBS, People Soft) is a plus.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (preferred), Java, or similar, with strong experience in AI/ML libraries (e.g., Tensor Flow, Keras, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, generative AI, AI Agent frameworks, and statistical modeling.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL), Oracle Autonomous Database and/or No
  
  SQL databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture.
• Experience building Automation workflows using Oracle tools, Microsoft Power Automate, UIPath or similar tools.
• Understanding of data governance and security best practices for AI applications.
• Certifications in Oracle Cloud, AI/ML or automation technologies is a plus.
• Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills, including experience presenting to leadership stakeholders.
• Investigative and curious mindset, with the ability to analyze large datasets and uncover actionable insights.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in parallel.
• Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
• Detail‑oriented, with strong time management, organization skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner.

• Maintaining composure in dealing with executives, clients, prospects, and staff, in group settings and in situations requiring high performance and results.
• Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey.
• Handling and being exposed to sensitive and confidential information.
• Required ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Occasional local and regional/national travel for presentations, meetings, and visits.
• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
• Work primarily performed in a hybrid or remote environment.
