• UMTS Ericsson Rehome, Rebalance, retune and Site Reconfiguration Support.
• Manage the RNC & Node B's which includes implementation, commissioning and integration with Node B and MGW/PS core.
• Technical support for the RNC which includes routine RNC O&M (both preventative & corrective) and troubleshooting.
• Provide competence transfer on RNC O&M to the local engineers (on-the-job training).
• ATM/IMA knowledge and implementation.
• Knows 3G signaling processing.
• Minimum of 3+ years experience in Nokia/E/// UMTS/WCDMA.
• Correct RNC faults and performance degradations in the network.
• Responsible for the development and implementation of Operations & Maintenance processes.
• Responsible for co-operating with the technical support of 3rd party equipment.
• Function verification in accordance with the maintenance documentation of the network element.
• Troubleshooting on a network element and its interfaces.
• Diagnostics on interfaces to locate problems in network elements and/or plug‑in units.
• Failure reporting & escalation, if needed.
• Standard Engineering Support activities for network and service development include:
• Software acceptance and upgrades.
• Handling of un-expected system performance/functionality issues.
• RNC internal parameter audit.
• Software audits on RNC and Node Bs.
• UTRAN internal parameter audit.
• Familiarity with Net Tek and interface probes.
• OCNS implementation, commissioning, & integration.
• Familiarity with 3
  
  GPP standards and releases.
• Knowledge of HSPA functioning and implementation.

• Ericsson 3G data fill and scripting experience.
• 4-6 years experience Ericsson RAN & OSS system technical support for the RNC which includes routine RNC O&M (both preventative & corrective) and troubleshooting.
• Creation of sites and neighbors (both UTRAN and GSM).
• Understand protocol analysis and call flow messaging.
• Understand protocol analyzer setup and output.
• Understand the parameters for Air interface algorithms (Power control / Admission control / Handover control / etc.).
• Create KPI & monitor Alarm on the OSS application.
• ATM/IMA knowledge and implementation.
• Strong computer skills, able to work flexible hours.
• Self‑motivated and able to work under pressure, good interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication skills required (written and verbal).
• Reliability and strong organizational skills are a must.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to completion.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks successfully.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Flexibility in ever changing environments and priorities.
• Exhibiting initiative in achieving company goals and objectives.
• Must meet minimum technical proficiency requirements.

2G BSS experience in Ericsson / Nortel BSS.

RET control experience.

XML scripting and mass parameter load through planned DL / OSS syste.
