Newsroom Specialist, Media & Thought Leadership

Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our Corporate Affairs team as a Newsroom Support Specialist dedicated to External Communications. This role will provide critical support in managing external communications, media engagement, and thought leadership initiatives. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, media relations, and building brand reputation.

• Media Relations & Monitoring:
  Maintain and update media contact lists; assist with press outreach. Conduct research, track and analyze media coverage.
• Thought Leadership Support:
  Coordinate development of articles, op-eds, and social media content. Support external speaking engagements and event participation.
• Newsroom support:
  Support Global newsroom to drive proactive storytelling and amplification across channels;
  Assist in developing media kits and briefing materials;
  Manage newsroom assets and maintain editorial calendars for external communications.

• Required:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Required:
  
  Minimum of 3 years in media relations, journalism or communications.
• Required:
  
  Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Required:
  
  Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management capability.
• Required:
  
  Exceptional writing skills for varied formats and platforms.
• Preferred:
  Familiarity working in a highly regulated industry.

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field is required; advanced degree preferred.
