The opportunity
This position functions as a strategic partner from Sales Operations to the Biosimilar Account selling team. You will partner and collaborate with Sales Leadership and Sales Operations Centers of Excellence (COEs) to implement and manage sales planning strategies, measure sales force effectiveness, and provide analysis for leadership as needed. The role also focuses on improving the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of incentive compensation functions and provides training and support to internal teams on relevant tools and systems.
Location:
hybrid role (3 days/week in office) based out of Parsippany, NJ.
All areas of responsibility listed below are essential to satisfactory performance of this position. Non-essential functions are assumed to be included in other related duties or assignments.
- Conduct on-demand and/or pro-active analyses related to sales performance and promotional efforts in support of sales presentations, sales effectiveness, incentive compensation performance, and launch performance tracking. Research and respond to field data inquiries.
- Partner with Incentive Compensation team, Sales Leadership, and Executive Leadership to strategically align field execution and reporting with field incentive and sales contest plans.
- Partner with Sales Reporting COE and sales leadership to develop reporting requirements, communications and training standards; collaborate with Field Services and Field Technology COE partners to define, implement and communicate key initiatives.

Education/Certification/Experience- Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration/Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering, Management Information Systems, Economics, Statistics, Finance or similar
- Minimum 2 years of Pharmaceutical Sales Operations, Sales Planning, Sales Administration, Pharmaceutical Marketing, or similar experience in a Corporate or Line of Business function
- Must have at least 2 years of hands-on experience performing analyses using Python & SQL
- Other coding languages such as SAS, R, VBA are a plus
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions such as pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Python and SQL is a must
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data integrity in all processes
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and achieve team goals
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently while maintaining high levels of accuracy
- Analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate complex data analysis into actionable recommendations
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical sales practices and industry regulations is a plus
- Great organizational skills and flexibility to perform under multiple deadlines
- Client focused, proactive and results oriented with ability to support clients across multiple locations
- Prior experience supporting medical benefit brands or partnering with biosimilar account teams is a plus
- Approximately 5% domestic travel throughout the US, which may include weekend and overnight trips
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Sitting for extended periods of time at work station or mobile equipment
- Perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading
- May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed on-site visits (i.e. safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.)
Compensation Data
The annual starting salary for this position is between $104,240 - $125,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
