The Opportunity

The Senior Manager, Commercial Training will oversee the operational function of Teva’s schizophrenia training for sales employees, supporting a key upcoming launch.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate launch readiness activities, leading or supporting initiatives such as POA meetings, workshops, and certification programs to ensure field force preparedness.
  • Develop, implement, and assess programs and initiatives that enhance psychiatry knowledge across sales teams.
  • Partner with sales and marketing leadership to identify training needs and deliver learning solutions that improve effectiveness of the sales force and management.
  • Plan and launch training solutions at optimal times, utilizing strategic communications to maximize uptake.
  • Support new hire, existing force, POA, and mass model training activities.
How You’ll Spend Your Day
  • Partner with marketing, sales, training, medical, regulatory, and legal leadership to assess design and deliver training solutions.
  • Execute blended training programs for new hire, national, regional, and other events.
  • Coach, teach, and train sales associates, providing feedback to field managers.
  • Evaluate classroom curriculum and collaborate with training leadership to keep content current.
  • Stay current with training trends through professional meetings and development events.
  • Suggest solutions aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Understand regulatory environment and follow approval processes.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure on‑time, on‑target solutions.
  • Leverage emerging training innovations for optimal outcomes.
Your Experience & Qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that fulfills the position requirements is considered.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical experience in sales, marketing, sales leadership, or training/development.
  • 4+ years of therapeutic training experience (field preferred).
  • Experience in psychiatry and/or neurology preferred.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Deep knowledge of the relationship between sales, marketing, and training.
  • Collaboration with multiple key stakeholders.
  • Ability to move quickly in a dynamic environment.
  • Strategic training and development plan execution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Group facilitation and classroom presentation skills.
  • High-pressure, fast-paced multitasking.
Travel Requirements

Approximately 20% domestic travel throughout the US.

Physical Requirements
  • Sitting for extended periods at a workstation or mobile equipment.
  • Computer work, data preparation, and extensive reading.
  • May require PPE during site visits.

Compensation

The annual starting salary ranges from $150,000 to $175,000, based on geography, skills, education, and experience.
