This role suits someone who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and takes full ownership of outcomes. You’ll report directly to the Global Indirect Procurement Director and sit at the intersection of global strategy and regional execution.
The remit is broad, expectations are high, and the impact is tangible. You’ll have real autonomy, direct exposure to senior leadership, and the opportunity to influence how procurement partners with the business.
What you’ll be doing day to day- Lead all indirect procurement activity across the US and Canada
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact for the regional business
- Own and deliver regional procurement projects end-to-end
- Drive marketing procurement initiatives, with some exposure to HR-related spend
- Partner with global category leads to implement global initiatives locally
- Deliver cost savings, productivity improvements, and cost avoidance year on year
- Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers and senior internal stakeholders
- Work closely with marketing, finance, legal, and operational leaders
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and supplier risk to inform decisions
- Significant experience in indirect procurement within a multinational organisation
- Strong, hands-on experience in marketing procurement
- Proven track record of leading procurement projects and delivering measurable cost savings
- Excellent commercial negotiation skills and stakeholder credibility
- Experience operating in a global matrix environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with pace, structure, and accountability
Experience across additional indirect categories, such as HR.
Background in consumer-facing industries such as CPG, beauty, or pharma.
Exposure to net working capital initiatives and payment term optimisation.
This is a high-seniority individual contributor role with real autonomy and ownership. You’ll work directly with global leadership on strategic initiatives while retaining strong regional influence. The hybrid working model is practical and balanced, supporting collaboration without sacrificing flexibility. Development comes through breadth of scope, visibility, and tangible business impact rather than hierarchy.
