Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Provide team support, including communication to partners, associates, clients, and team members
- Document organization and management, scanning, filing, sorting, mailings, and use of electronic mailing
- Tax return processing:
Prepare tax folder, mailing, Print/PDF, CD or USB copies of tax returns and contact clients as needed - E-file: extensions and tax returns
- Assist clients with signing required documentation at tax return pickup
- Prepare office bulk and non-bulk engagement letters
- Schedule appointments for Partners and help make travel arrangements as needed
- Scanning, faxing, and filing as needed
- Other duties assigned relating to the needs of the business, our clients, and partners
- Manage and maintain client portals when necessary
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Liaise with partners and team members to handle requests and queries
- 3+ years of proven experience as an administrative assistant with tax processing in a public accounting firm
- Expertise in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook);
Knowledge CCH Axcess and Engagement is a plus - Experience formatting & proofreading financial statement is a big plus
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent and professional level of verbal, written, and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and be flexible
- Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
