Senior Accounts Receivables

The Accounts Receivable Senior position is responsible for ensuring timely posting of all customer cash receipts, handling customer deduction resolution and overseeing the general AR functions. This position requires researching and resolving the deductions while working closely with the sales team to maintain strong customer relationships. This role will be required to exercise analytical skills, organizational skills, and communication skills while working closely with sales, operations, and accounting as well as with our customers and distributors.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, analytical in nature, and wants to work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to multi task and keep AR accounts current is a must.

• Daily posting of cash receipts and tracking of deductions for follow up
• Obtain and analyze backup documentation for deductions and billbacks and determine their legitimacy.
• Approve or route deductions for approval against active contracts, and process to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
• Chargebacks with E-commerce and retail space
• Oversee AR functions including cash application, invoicing, and customer deductions
• Document AR functions in SOPs and update annually at a minimum
• Support collection efforts
• Perform the timely close of AR for month end
• Identify and implement process improvements on an on-going basis

• 2+ years of accounts receivable experience
• General knowledge of accounting (GAAP)
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Bachelors Degree nice to have
