Forklift Operator

Pay Rate: $17 per hour / temp to perm Monday – Friday 6:30am
-3:00pm

Operatorisresponsibleforsafelyoperatingforkliftsandothermaterialhandlingequipmenttomove,load,unload,andorganizematerialsinwarehouses,factories,construction sites,andotherindustrialsettings.

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other industrial vehicles to transport materials between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas.
• Load and unload deliveries from trucks and trailers, ensuring pallets and materials are positioned safely and securely.
• Manage inventory by scanning, labeling, and tracking items using RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Prepare and secure loads, verify pallet stability, and ensure proper wrapping or shrink-wrapping before movement.
• Transport raw materials to workstations and return finished goods to staging areas.
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and complete OSHA-required daily checks.
• Identify workplace hazards, report damages, and adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
• Support warehouse operations such as picking, packing, order staging, and trailer loading.
• tate stock using FIFO methods and assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.

• Valid forklift certification and experience operating industrial vehicles.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail for safe operation near shelves and other workers.
• Physical stamina and good condition to handle lifting, standing, and moving materials.
• Basic mathematical aptitude and organizational skills for inventory management.
• Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanning equipment.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
