Machine Operator/Setup I - 2nd Shift

We offer a wide range of products for the thread‑forming industry, including flat, cylindrical, planetary, trimming, rack and segmented carbide dies. The company markets its products to numerous industries, including automotive, die mold, aerospace, energy, heavy industry, and dental.
We seek a Machine Operator/Setup I to join our growing team! In this role, your primary function includes setting up and operating computer список чисел controlled (CNC) mills, machining centers, or grinders to perform multiple machining and cutting operations. Load and unload work. Works from work orders and blueprints. Sets and checks work to various quality gauges. Makes offsets to CNC control to contain part size variations.
This position reports to the Shift Supervisor.
- Reads and interprets work orders, drawings/blueprints to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings, and machining methods and sequences.

HM neededבודה operation. - Mounts, aligns and secures tooling, attachments, and the workpiece(s) on the machine.
- Calculates and sets machine controls to position the spindle in relationship to the workoas and to regulate factors such as cutting depth, feed, speed, and coolant flow.
- Performs first piece, in‑process inspection on work produced, and enters offset adjustments to machine controls to correct out‑of‑tolerance dimensions.
- Discusses part program issues with supervisor or programmer to resolve deficiencies.
- Cleans machine(s), tooling, and product produced.
- Responsible for the re‑sharpening of tooling used on production equipment.
- High school diploma or the equivalent of 5 or more years of applicable work experience.
- 1–3 years of CNC experience preferred.
- Working knowledge with tight tolerances.
- Basic understanding of computers.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints preferredází.
- Basic knowledge of inspection tools and ability to perform inspection of parts.
- Basic comprehension and understanding of shop mathematics and the ability to work between standard and metric units of measurement.
- Demonstrated ability to operate multiple machines and multi‑task.
