This supervisor is responsible to the Residential Manager to provide direct programming and support services to individuals with developmental disabilities and to supervise residential staff assigned to the individual’s home.

Performs in‑home training with the Direct Support Professional and is responsible for related household chores, transports individuals as needed, operates vehicles safely, ensures the proper ordering and dispensing of medication, implements medical treatments, attends in‑service training programs and staff meetings, ensures the safety and well‑being of all individuals, prepares nutritious meals, reports incidents and unusual medical situations, performs first aid and other nursing procedures as trained and designated, maintains household files for compliance, oversees direct care, supervises employees, recommends personnel actions, evaluates performance, implements Individual Service Plans, maintains documentation of services, coordinates medical treatment, maintains accurate accounting of resident funds, and performs other related duties as assigned.

Must be at least 18 years of age;
High School Diploma or equivalent;
Associate’s Degree preferred.

Multimedia First Aid, CPR—adult, child & infant; delegated nursing; valid Ohio Driver’s License - Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

Two years experience working with developmentally disabled individuals; supervisory experience preferred.

• Must be able to communicate in English, including spoken and written.
• Must be detail oriented and have competent literacy and writing, documentation, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Must be able to use tools and equipment as required—including pushing/pulling wheelchairs, lifting consumers with Hoyer lifts.
• Will be responsible for on‑call for groups as assigned.
