Patient Care Nurse Assistant; PCNA

Overview

Patient Care Nurse Assistant (PCNA) - (250009FV). This position is for Parma Medical Center only.

• The Patient Care Nursing Associate (PCNA) completes patient care activities as delegated by the RN.
• PCAs perform duties including, but not limited to, ADLs, vital signs, I and Os, 12 lead ECG, bladder scan, hygiene, and venipuncture where applicable.
• Familiarity with using wheelchairs, EKG equipment, patient assistive devices, and patient care equipment specific to assigned population.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as well as exhibiting strong organizational skills and work ethic, and a professional demeanor when responding to patients and customers; basic computer data entry skills.
• Experience in a large teaching hospital is preferred. One year of job stability is preferred.

• High School Equivalent / GED required.
• BLS certification
