St. Anthony of Padua School is a growing Catholic elementary school serving students in grades K–8 in Parma, Ohio. Due to exceptional enrollment growth, we are expanding several grade-level classrooms. Position Overview:

The classroom teacher creates a structured, faith-filled learning environment that supports the academic, social, and spiritual development of students while fostering relationships, curiosity, responsibility, and a love of learning through collaboration with colleagues and families.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with Ohio Learning Standards
  • Foster relationships that contribute to a positive and structured classroom environment
  • Integrate Catholic values and teachings into daily instruction and interactions
  • Assess student progress and use data to guide instruction
  • Maintain open and consistent communication with parents and guardians
  • Collaborate with faculty and administration to support school initiatives
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Valid Ohio teaching license (or eligibility for certification)
  • Practicing Catholic with a strong commitment to the mission of Catholic education.
