Commercial Construction Project Manager

Job Description

A growing commercial general contractor in the Cleveland, Ohio market is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work on a steady pipeline of diverse, high-quality commercial projects with a company that values leadership, organization, and strong field relationships.

This role will be responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout while coordinating with owners, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

• Office and corporate interiors

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams
• Oversee contract documents, change orders, and project documentation
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
• Work closely with superintendents, estimating, and ownership teams
• Maintain strong relationships with local subcontractors and vendors

Qualifications:

• Experience managing commercial construction projects
• Background in restaurant, retail, healthcare, financial, or office construction preferred
• Strong construction software and project management system experience
• Field experience and understanding of jobsite operations
• Established relationships with local subcontractors
• Preconstruction and budgeting experience
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
