Junior Accountant
We are looking for a detail‑oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance department. You will be responsible for maintaining financial records, performing reconciliations, and assisting with the preparation of monthly financial statements. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early‑career professional to gain hands‑on experience in a corporate environment.
What You'll Do- General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in the preparation of journal entries and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Accounts Payable: Process invoices and ensure vendor records are up to date.
- Bank Reconciliations: Assist in the monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by gathering necessary documentation and schedules.
- Month‑End Close: Support the Senior Accountant in closing the books by meeting strict deadlines.
- Compliance: Help ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.

Skills:
Experience in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) preferred. - Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Sage Intacct, Net Suite, or SAP) is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to spot discrepancies and investigate the root cause.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for interacting with vendors and internal departments.
