Architect, Engineering Design & Technologists

For our upcoming Expo 2030 project, a Parma-based design team is expanding. We are seeking a mid-level Architect who will work under the leadership of LAVA Co-founder Chris Bosse in Sydney and in close collaboration with our global studios.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and refine architectural designs from concept through to detailed documentation.
Create 3D models, parametric systems, and visual presentations using Rhino, Grasshopper, and Revit.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, and international project teams to ensure design integrity and quality.
Support project management tasks, including timelines, deliverables, and technical coordination.
Integrate sustainable design principles and materials into project solutions.
Contribute to design discussions and reviews within LAVA’s global and European studio network.

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred).
3–5 years of professional experience.
Strong design and technical skills, with proficiency in Rhino, Grasshopper, and Revit.
Knowledge of sustainable design principles and construction processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English (additional languages is a plus).
Detail-oriented, organized, and self‑motivated, with experience managing multiple project tasks.
Genuine interest in LAVA’s vision of innovative, human-centered, and sustainable futures.
