About this opportunity
We are looking for an Inventory Controller, for our plant in Parma (Italy) which produces beverage aluminium cans, operating 7/7, 24h/24h on a continuous shift system. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Inventory Controller ensures accurate inventory management reconciliation, packaging materials coordination and warehouse operations, while supporting the reporting and KPI monitoring of the department and ensuring stock levels meet production needs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management & Month-End

Plan and coordinate stock takes across all warehouses.
Manage FG inventory and adjustments in SAP.
Handle invoicing and reconciliations.

Packaging Materials

Verify physical vs. system stock counts.
Coordinate customer collections of packaging materials.
Monitor sorting efficiency and utilization.
Prepare reports and KPIs.

Warehouse Operations

Manage collection of empty IBCs and pallets.
Liaise with suppliers for returns.
Register complaints and prepare invoicing documentation.

Reporting & Analysis

Draft and share reports, forecasts, and presentations.
Monitor KPIs to support decision-making.

Skills & Qualifications

Degree in Economics or Engineering, with a spcialisation in Supply-Chain.
Fluent in Italian and English, strong Excel skills.
SAP knowledge and prior experience of minimum 2 years in similar roles preferred.
Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills.
Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
Flexibility, customer orientation and safety mind-set.
Proactive mindset and ability to work under deadlines.
